How do I find my password if I forget it or lose it?
On the log in page click the “lost password” link. Just complete your email address or user name and you will receive a link to create a new password via email.
How do I change my password?
Go to your profile page and scroll down to the bottom. When done click Update Profile. We recommended changing your password on your first visit.
Why can’t I post any events without having a student assigned to me?
Study Smart is designed for communication between instructors, students and parents. If you don’t have any students linked to you, then your assignments will not be received by any of them. It is recommended that right after you register, you encourage your students to register as well so that they don’t miss any assignments.
How do I obtain an Instructor website?
After you register on Study Smart and your account is activated, the final step in the process is to complete your Profile. After you select your status as “Instructor” an option will appear to complete a URL and website name. If you complete this section you will be automatically directed to a template website. You can customize this site such as changing themes, adding links, adding images or video or anything else in the way of personalization.
How do I edit my website?
In the default instructor’s website, you find a link titled “My Sites” at the top left corner of the page. Click on the “Dashboard” menu item then use any of the options to make edits. The most common are “pages”, “links” and “appearance”. Refer to the “Teacher Website Reference Guide” from the list of links in the “link” tab for more information.
How do I create a customized form using the Form Template function?
There are Form Templates available that you can customize. These can be found on the Forms Template link in your Dashboard Menu. For more information refer to the “Teacher Website Reference Guide” from the list of links in the “link” tab.
How do I unlink old students or students that have left the class?
On your calendar in the Options dropdown list select My Students then check the student(s) to ‘Unlink’. Students affected will be able to view old events but not new events.
How do I delete my website?
If you no longer require your website please let us know and we will complete the task for you. Once deleted all the information will be erased. Note: events in the calendar will not be deleted. Contact Study Smart for further information.
Are you really non-profit?
Yes. We do not display advertisements and operate the site as a community service. Our kids have found benefit from using Studysmart and we hope that yours do too.
